"Actualmente antes de mi Taunus GTS, mi padre compro un Taunus 1993 GT (1600 cc) de color blanco original y que nosotros manejamos desde 1993 hasta 2005. Luego vendimos el GT con aproximadamente 160.000 kms recorridos.

Actually before my own Taunus GTS, my father bought a 1993 GT (1600 cc) white colored from the Ford factory in Turkey and we drive that Taunus since 1993 until 2005. After that we sold our previous white GT in 2005 and it's  was approximately in 160.000 Kms. when we sold that.

Despues de eso, un día regresando desde el trabajo vimos mi actual GTS en una agencia con Ismail (Socio TR1). Fuimos a la agencia para verlo.

After that when we were returning to home from our factory, one day we saw my current GTS in a car gallery with Ismail. And we went to the gallery to see the GTS.

 

Después de verlo y chequearlo, decidí tener mi propio Taunus y lo compro en 2 días. En ese momento el auto tenia 95.000 kms.

After we checked it, I decided to buy my own Taunus and I bought it within 2 days. When I bought, it was in 95.000 Kms.

 

 

Luego de comprarlo y recorrer aproximadamente 1 km, el auto se detuvo. Me di cuente ahí que no tenia nafta! Entonces mi amigo Ismail fue hasta la estación de servicio y me compro 5 litros de nafta. Esto realmente me molesto porque ese día estaba lloviendo.

After we bought the Taunus from the gallery we drive approximately 1 Km and it suddenly stopped. We realised that it has not got any benzine. So I sent my friend Ismail to the Petrol Station and he bought me 5 Lt. of benzine :-) He was so angry when he brought it to me because it was raining. 

 

Hasta hoy solo he reparado unos pequeños agujeros en el piso. Ahora tiene aproximadamente unos 115.000 kms, y lo manejos con placer sin problemas. El único drama es el valor de la nafta en Turquía que es casi 2 dólares. Nunca he podido llenarle el tanque completamente desde que lo compre...

Until today I only repaired the underside of my Taunus because there were holes on the surface. Now it's approximately in 115.000 Kms, and I'm driving it with pleasure and joy without any problem. The only problem is the unit price of benzine in Turkey. And as 1 Lt benzine is approximetly 2,00 U$S in Turkey, I couldn't completely full the tank of my Taunus :-) since I bought it from the car gallery.

 

Como tiene caja automática el manejo del Taunus es muy cómodo. Desearía que cada miembro del Club Taunus Argentina pudiese encontrar un TC4 y manejarlo antes del final de sus vidas. Si tuvieran la oportunidad de hacerlo entenderían las diferencias.

As it has automatic gearbox, driving my Taunus is very very joyfull. I wish every member of Club Taunus Argentina could find a TC4 and drive it before the end of your lifes. If you will have an opportunity to drive a TC4, you will understand the difference.
